The law firm of Berkowitz Oliver Williams Shaw & Eisenbrandt (Kansas City) retained Hampton IP & Economic Consultants, on behalf the plaintiff, with regard to case no. 06-CV-00039 in the USDC for the Western District of Missouri, to provide an opinion of damages arising from alleged false advertising, unfair competition, and trademark infringement. The defendant ran advertising spots that allegedly misrepresented characteristics and qualities of H&R Block.
