Ms. Bailey is a forensic accountant and senior consultant at Hampton IP & Economic Consultants. Ms. Bailey has provided consultation and analysis on more than 40 commercial litigation cases since joining Hampton IP in 2015.
Ms. Bailey is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Utah. She graduated from the University of Utah, David Eccles School of Business, with a Master of Accounting and an emphasis in Financial Audit. Prior to attending the University of Utah, Ms. Bailey graduated from Utah State University, Jon. M. Huntsman School of Business, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Minor in Economics.
Ms. Bailey has written and edited numerous Rule 26 Reports, calculated lost profit, performed an accounting of ill-gotten gain, and established a reasonable royalty on IP matters involving patent, copyright, trademark, and trade dress infringement; breach of contract; unfair competition; tortious interference; and misappropriation of trade secrets.
Ms. Bailey’s forensic accounting experience embraces biological testing, manufacturing, consumer electronics, medical instruments, oil and gas, advertising, consumer goods, entertainment, digital media, multi-level-marketing, restaurant, wholesale distribution, regulatory taking, and construction.
Ms. Bailey has worked with distinguished law firms across the U.S. including Latham & Watkins, Baker & McKenzie, McGuire Woods, Reed Smith, Troutman Sanders, and many other leading firms.
